I’ve been doing weddings in Trudder since 2011. Our family bought the house years before that. Mum redecorated it and Dad added a few personal touches... his own bar and putting green. We originally lived in the main house Trudder until myself and my 2 sisters moved out to go to college. We always said we'd get married in Trudder ourselves, it’s a real 'get together' house (tried and tested) and so in 2011 after many years in college doing lots of different things I used one of my postgrads (PR and events) to take on weddings at Trudder - best thing I've ever done!

I love how every couple makes it their own, I think it makes weddings here even more special. I don’t know how I do it but I can always remember how couples decorate, its their own personal stamp. Trudder started to get very busy so in 2014 Susan became more involved. We now run it together, we're pretty much joined at the hip. Even when we're not in wedding season we'll be together or on the phone to each other.
